What kind of plugs do they use ? null

Simple, spring, loaded speaker terminals. recommend tinning the speaker wires first.

On the outside, the enclosure features spring-loaded binding posts, which can accommodate speaker wire sizes up to 12 gauge. I hope this answers your question!
