QuestionI know these are meant to reduce sound transfer. But do they also reduce sound quality? I'm placing the MAG5.1 in my basement ceilings that are not insulated, and right above is a bedroom.

QuestionHow are these enclosures installed, are they installed with the speaker as you are cutting the template, or do you need to go into the attic after you have installed it and place it on top from that end

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. These retro enclosures are designed to be used with all 6" Sonance Visual Performance Series speakers and the MAG6R Best Buy Exclusive speaker. They are installed on the back of the speaker before installation. QuestionWhy are there two sets of speaker inputs when this only covers one speaker?

- Answer This enclosure is designed for one channel T or TR -series speakers for surround setup and also for whole house ambiance music using the SST or SSTR 2 channel stereo speakers. You need to run two pairs of speaker wires to each SST/SSTR speakers from the stereo audio source. Hope this helps.

- Answer I just installed four of these on four ma6r in my basement media room Saturday. I too have no joist or insulation which made the install that much easier. At the same time my AV professional buddy told me they were a waste of money, and to really benefit you need a box built from wood. Since I had already purchased these and wasn't about to cut huge holes in my ceiling for that this i moved forward. So far they seem decent but I haven't really taken them for a full test m
