Hi, You can technically play all 8 speakers at the same time using the Sonance SS4 4-Pair Stereo Speaker Selector, but we do not recommend it unless your amplifier is specifically rated to handle the increased load. Connecting multiple pairs of speakers lowers the total impedance seen by your amplifier, which can stress or damage the amp if it’s not designed for low-impedance loads. While the SS4 includes an impedance protection switch, even with that enabled, playing all four pairs simultaneously is not ideal for long-term use unless your system is built for it. Before using the SS4, we strongly recommend reading the product manual to understand the power limitations of the speaker selector and the safe operating guidelines fully.
