Hi, Thank you for your question. Our speaker selector should be connected to your amplifier/receiver using a pair of speaker outputs usually found on the back. An iPod is usually connected as a source input on your amplifier/receiver so the two devices should not interfere with each other. I hope you found this information helpful.
