I believe you can do this. Sonos has very good free technical support so you should consult with them too.

What you could do instead is place a SONOS sound bar under the TV, then use the sonos amp to power your two surround speakers. Either way, most TVs have the option to route audio only through line out or through both line out and the tv speakers.
