Yes you most certainly can add two Play 1's to the covered area simply rename them patio 2 (or whatever you like) and use the "group" setting to play them all at once. This will workout well for you, no need to send music to the non covered space on a rainy day if you want to enjoy the covered patio :) Or simply leave them grouped. NOTE: The Play 1's should be brought indoors when the temps drop (anything below 40 F is our rule) they can stand humidity but are not built to get wet.

They can be grouped with your SONOS AMP and play the same music that is playing on your Bose speakers via the SONOS AMP. So, the answer is yes. Enjoy!
