I plan on buying a LG with E-arc Dolby Atmos ready. I currently have Sonos soundbar and play1's, Sonos Sub. Will Dolby Atmos sound carry to my Play1's/Sub from my Sonos Arc or will Dolby Atmos play only on the Arc. And not on the play1's/Sub null

You will get Dolby Atmos sound with the Arc's 2 upward firing speakers but your Arc will pair effortlessly with your existing rears and Sub. You just need to make sure you download the new Sonos S2 app. The Sonos Arc won't work with the original app. The Sonos Play:1s and the older Sub will work with the new app and pair beautifully with the Sonos Arc. Understand that the Sonos Arc takes care of the Atmos sound, but I have the whole system (Arc, Rears and Sub) and I sounds great!

I’m not familiar with the LG sound bar, but I would assume Bluetooth is generic & the LG “may” find the sub speakers. I suggest you contact LG to be sure. Sonos just came out with a new E-arc sound bar. I have that & two Sonos One SL & it provides an amazing surround sound. You should give that new technology a try.
