- Answer sure, as long as it has a ARC HDMI output. it will work with optical out, but you give up some functions

QuestionBought a Sonos Arc Sound bar June first, hooked up today and went through all the steps, my TV is a Hitachi plasma 11 years old so had to use the optical adapter, did not have arc hookup. all the steps seem to go find but the sound cutting out bad.

- Answer Mine did this too but with the arc hook up on a 3 year old Visio. I switched to the optical and it fixed everything. Might try updating the software or call the help line.

QuestionI have 2 sonos 5 speakers, set up in stereo mode for music only(not TV) Can i use an arc as an additional speaker to help fill the room with sound? Will it effect the stereo sound that i enjoy? Will the arc add mid range and higher frequency sound?

QuestionIs this wireless or is there a power cord that has to be connected to the TV. I have a 65" TV mounted to the wall and I did not want cords hanging from the TV to the soundbar. Also can this be mounted to the wall? Does it come with the mounting hardware?

- Answer It is not wireless. The power cord is separate from the HDMI cable. There is a wall mount that is sold separately.

QuestionCan I add an external sub to the ARC other than a Sonos? I have a 10" Klipsch sub that I would like to use...is that possible?

- Answer If you have the external sub connected to a Sonos Amp then yes you can. I have a Denon external sub connected to a Sonos Amp, then when using the Arc you just have to open the Sonos App and group it with the Sonos Amp (wireless). I haven't found a way to permanently connect them so seems like you just have to do it each time, but its easy.

- Answer Does not require those to function. Soundbar sounds great on its own. Adding the subwoofer and other speakers would certainly enhance it, but not required (I don't have those myself)

- Answer It is completely wireless, except for the power plug and HDMI cable to TV. The plugs are concealed on the inside so you can position it so no cords show.

- Answer I’m not completely sure. And the sono sub cost $700 plus. If I were you I would get the Bose sub I think there are two choices one bigger than the other but talk to Best Buy geek’s to get your answer.
