“Does the Sonos sound bars require the subwoofer Sub (Gen 3) and the SL Smart speaker to function?”

• Does not require those to function. Soundbar sounds great on its own. Adding the subwoofer and other speakers would certainly enhance it, but not required (I don't have those myself)
