“My Sonos ARC was just shipped. I have a Sony 4K XBRX450B older TV puschased from BB in 2014. It does have ARC but not eARC. I probably should have asked this question before. Is my TV compatible with the Sonos ARC?”

• You will be able to use Arc and even with just HDMI ARC you can still enjoy Dolby Digital+ which is an Atmos format as well. This format is also the most often used Atmos format from streaming services.

• It will work but you’re not going to enjoy the Atmos feature of the sound bar. Only 2020 TVs, I think, has the enhanced arc HDMI port.
