How can I use the TV speakers instead of the Arc?
When switching to TV speakers, it auto connects back to the Arc. So far the only thing that works is disconnecting the Arc from the power plug or the hdmi cable.
I have a samsung Q80

I've encountered the same behavior, and have not been able to figure this one out myself. We have the Samsung Frame TV and the audio will play through the TV for about 3 seconds before automatically switching back to the ARC. Rather frustrating.

There may be a separate setting that allows the TV to auto detect when the sound bar is plugged in.
You would need to take that off of auto.

Why would you spend $800 and want to listen to the awful TV speakers?

Hello, if there is a reason you'd like to use the tv speakers, there should be an option within the audio settings of your tv. We would recommend consulting your tv manual if this menu is not apparent.
