A:AnswerHi, and thanks for your question! Sonos Radio doesn't have a timeout feature so in most cases your music will not stop unless you tell it to. However, some partner stations may time out if that station requires us to do that in our agreement with them. However, none of the Sonos Stations that we curate or create will time out.
A:AnswerOld equipment should work. My brother in law is doing that. New app is to support their pay music app by Sonos. It also added functionality for SiriusXM, Apple Music etc.
I believe the new app was need for arc and Dolby atmos.
A:AnswerHi, thank you for your question. Your subwoofers are not compatible with a Sonos Five but you would be able to connect one of your subwoofers to a Sonos Amp. If you had two Sonos Amps, this would allow you to connect each of your subwoofers.
A:AnswerThe Sonos Five is not bluetooth and must be plugged into the wall for power.
Note: if you ask your questions between 9-5EST Mon-Friday (with the exception of holidays) you'll get a faster response)
A:AnswerIf you wanted to plug a turn table into it, it would have to be with a 3.5mm aux cable. You could then group your other Sonos speakers with the Sonos 5, and select "line in" in our app and they'll all play what's playing from your turn table. If this doesn't work for you, another product to consider would be Sonos Port. It doesn't have a speaker but it would allow you to take your turntable and integrate that into your Sonos system.
A:AnswerHi, and thank you very much for reaching out! Sonos Five cannot be used as a tv speaker, however it can be used as wireless rears with our home theater products.

A:AnswerYou can, you can either pair them up to play the same thing, or have each play different music. In your example yes you can have 2 playing one thing, and the other play another.
Ours is setup that way.
Its also nice because there is a 'party' mode where you can join them all together temporarily for say like a 'party' ;)
A:AnswerHi, thank you for your question. When playing your record player into a Five you can then choose that "Line-in" source to be played in other Sonos zones is on your Sonos system.
A:AnswerThe Sonos Five is designed to sit on a table or mount to a wall with a third party mount. There could be issues with wireless signal strength if the cabinet of the Five was enclosed in a wall, but that depends on the type of wall, the strength of the WiFi signal, etc. Sonos does sell in wall speakers developed in conjunction with Sonance that you can find on bestbuy.com. These passive speakers are designed to be used with the Sonos Amp and created to look great in a wall.
A:AnswerYou can use the same wall mount as the Play:5 (Gen 2) which is physically the exact same dimensions as the new Sonos Five as the updates were all color updates and internal updates.
A:AnswerThe Sonos Five will qualify for the 30% off coupon that is generated by trading up a Play:5 (Gen 1). That discount on the coupon is good for any one Sonos product!
