I actually do this with my setup. I have a Sonos beam and 2 SL's for the surround. what I do is turn off the surrounds in the setting so they're just regular speakers. The beam is the one the tv is connected to so I select that (without it I won't get the tv audio) with any other one and just put the Beam volume down and the SL volume up. Hopefully, that makes sense.

Any speakers plugged into the Sonos Amp will play the same things at the same time as the Amp is 1 zone if you will. If you'd like individual control with different speakers playing different things you would need one amp per "zone". Alternatively you could get a multi channel amplifier from another company and attach Sonos Ports to each channel.
