• Its always best to buy speakers in pairs, but you can definitely just use one speaker for your occasion. You will need to buy a soundbar as the SL speakers are mere add-ons.

• Hi, and thank you very much for asking this question. To plug into your tv, you would need one of our Home Theater products. (Arc, Amp, Beam) You could then us the One SL as audio in another room (either music, or group it with your Sonos Home Theater product and you can have your tv audio playing through it wirelessly in another room) or a pair of them can be added as surround sounds for a 5.0 (add Sub for 5.1) surround sound experience.
