Is the Sonus- One Sl compatible as a single speaker on a patio with the PL5's using the mobile app? null

Not this speaker, but the portable speaker will do exactly what you’re looking for.

Thanks for you question! The Sonos One SL will work as part of your Sonos as all of our products are designed to work together. So you can enjoy music one the patio through the One SL and inside with the Play5 through our app. Note that the One SL is not weather resistant and must be plugged into a power outlet. It will sound good outside, but if you're looking for a true outdoor speaker we would recommend taking a look at the Sonos Move.
