Yes, the system connects wirelessly through your wi-fi. The sound bar, base, sub and peripheral speakers all connect together and are synchronized through the Sonos app on your phone pr computer.

Yes. If you have an existing Sonos account on your home network, all you need to do is plug the sub in to power, and either connect to your WiFi, or a hardwired internet connection.
