Yes, its a premium. The reviews weren’t kidding. The sub is amazing. The wireless is very good. No dropping off at all. No pauses. Totally in sync with bar. You can feel the action in movies such as “Jurassic Park.” I’m also an avid “Overwatch” player. It’s been good for that too. The packaging for it is “GRADE A.” You know what is nice that this American company does? They include 4 felt pads for the bottom of the subwoofer Incase you have hardwood floor. I thought “Wow that’s nice.” That new smell comes out once opened. All materials are epic. It does come with a cloth. Even the quick start guides...... I wanted to fold back neatly..... as if I had collector cards or something. The look of this sub is absolutely beautiful. It’s sturdy. You can actually sometimes spot the vibrations inside. I find super cool :) I tested the “Disney” movie “Moana” on both Playbar & Sub combo. Absolutely mind-blowing. Every detail from her foot touching the sand.... To the crumbling of the rocks..... The singing was perfect. No flaw was found at all during my test. Also switched over to “Dolby Vision” via “Apple TV 4K.” Flawless. No weird sounds occurred. “PS4 Pro” sounded great. “Nintendo Switch” sounded great. Hoping to get “Trueplay” support to iPhone 8 Plus soon. It’s such a new phone so that’s ok. Still recommend the sub. It adds that extra touch to action packed movies.

Do yourself a favor, buy this product. I have a Beam and to Play:1s as surrounds in my living room but when watching a big epic movie, the bass was lacking. Insert this behemoth of a product. This sub is the perfect compliment to your surround system and completely transforms the sound in the room. Pair this with a Beam allows the soundbar to focus on the mid/high range sounds while the sub takes over the deep base. When this sub does hit, it is not some earth shattering rattle it is a very deep, tight sound that truly makes the room rumble but not shake things off the wall. I was worried about placement but Sonos states that it will not matter as these frequencies will disperse thru the room properly as long as it is not hidden in a closet. Setup was a breeze and is integrated into my system with ease. Highly recommended for all Sonos users!

Extremely easy to set up and it put out the most unbelievable bass sound. My kids couldn't believe how much better the system sounded. Well worth the money.

Connecting my SONOS Sub to the Playbar was pretty easy. Once I opened the box there were additional instructions that helped show how to sync it up. A few clicks on the Sub (plus a few minutes for the software download) and it was synced. My living room is longer vs wider and the bass carries throughout the house. The Best Buy audio specialist turned the system up while we were there and it really didn't make a difference because the room is open. However, hearing the difference in my home was incredible. My living room has a Playbar, sub, and two Play 1s. If the price is turning you away, you won't be disappointed. I wanted a subwoofer but I got a full range sound system now! It comes in a nice protective foam and sewn cover. Additionally it has felt feet if you choose to lay it on its side configuration and a cloth to wipe it down. Yes it is expensive but you'll love the range of the woofers.

If you can afford it this sub goes great with the sonos system, the price point is high but it connects easily and integrates well it also looks cool and the sound is perfect for the lows

We added this unit to our existing set up. We absolutely love it and I family room and it makes watching movies or TV shows fantastic! Very easy to set up and look quite classy.

I already had a nice Harman Kardon set that I was using for a long time but when I heard how Sonos sounded I just knew that I got to have it! So I started buying Sonos One’s then after a month I bought the Play 5’s then added the Playbar after 3 months. It sounds really really good but there was something missing whenever I watch movies. So I finally bought the Sonos Sub. It made a lot of difference. Its like night and day. I know its pricey but I never regret buying the sub. ❤️❤️❤️ Sonos

Great sound quality. It makes a difference to your viewing experience when you have a sub that produces a deep bass. I highly recommend.

I'm loving the sound and the shape of this Sub. I looks very nice in my new Smart Home. Was super easy to include in my surround sound for my Sony TV.

I started out with just the Sonos Soundbar, but wanted more sound. I purchased the Sonos Subwoofer yesterday and in the short time I have owned it I LOVE IT and would recommend anyone to buy it. I used to be a Bose snob, and I recently gave Sonos a chance, and I have to say, they are giving Bose a run for their money. I love the app, and how easy it is to hook the system up and control everything on my phone. No need for more remotes!

Bought this sub with the package that includes the sound bar and the two Sonos Ones. Upon initial set up I was a bit disappointed vs what I heard during the in store demo. After the calibration set up that mentions the sound corrects over time and gets better I waited. One week later and I couldn’t believe my ears; music movies everything is glorious. Definitely worth the money. Rating value as average because it is right on the cusp of being a tad bit high, as always you get what you pay for. Sound makes the experience though.

I have 400sf living room. Paired with the soundbar and the play5, it has an amazing sound and minimum wire's.

I played around with the settings quite a bit to determine if it was worth the purchase. I’m not a sound expert so it took me a good while. If you like watching action movies or listen to music that has a lot of bass then it’s totally worth it. If you don’t but have a lot of disposable income then it’s worth it so you can show your family/friends how rich you are.

I researched before buying and the Sonos beam and subwoofer got nothing but excellent reviews. Now that I had the system installed for 2 weeks I could not be happier. The sound quality is phenomenal and the installation was super easy. Now I would like to add 2 additional speakers to complete the 5.1 surround sound system.

This literally took 5 minutes to set up with my playbar. Looks great too!

I feel in love with this sub after buying the sound bar. It was the perfect edition and made the sound bar come alive. I had to put it through the paces to see hoe it would perform. The sub handled everything I threw at it. Anything from classic rock, jazz, classical, reggae ton, hip hop and movies and all was flawless sounds.

This sub, is an excellent addition to your audio setup. I have a Beam, and two Play:1, and the audio sounded great before, but adding the Sub, gives your audio a completely new dimension! Be it playing games, watching the latest movies or simply watching silly videos, it makes it come alive!

Glad I finally chose to purchase the Sonos wireless subwoofer as an addition to my pair of Sonos-One speakers and Sonos Beam. The enhanced bass adds a new dimension to my music.

I absolutely LOVE this sub! It's so powerful and rounds out music with amazing BASS that I purchased multiples. Love them for surround sound Sonos setup with the soundbar or the Sonos Beam.
