Great but overpriced
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems overpriced because its really not that necessary for bass. The soundbar itself has plenty of bass. I actually had to lower the bass level on the sub. The sub is still pretty loud with very deep lows, however I think the board of the enclosure should have been thicker because it doesnt sound very solid. Although its very heavy, it doesnt seem very sturdy for its unique design, meaning the hole in the middle makes the air pressure inside less uniform causing "turbulence" inside the box. Comparison: Interesting appearance, but the Bose acoustimass sub sounds better and deeper.

Huge Difference
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really helps to fill a big space, makes all the difference in the world for adding that deeper quality sound. Not needed for small rooms imo, but huge difference in larger rooms. Like all the other Sonos equipment it’s an easy setup. Expensive but worth it.

Solid addition to home theater system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos subwoofer adds solid low-end range to an already excellent Sonos Play-Base setup. The ability to adjust only the sub volume remotely from the Sonos app is very handy, too, just in case you end up in a movie or program with beefed-up base.

Sonos SUB
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased with Playbar and incorporated two pre existing Play1’s. Setup was a breeze using the Sonos App. App was just updated to allow speaker tuning with iOS 11. SUB sounds amazing. When set at its highest level it definitely delivers more bass than possibly needed. Was cool though that it could shake my house lol. Quite honestly after setup and tuning sounded perfect immediately. I do prefer to emphasize vocals while watching normal tv programs. I prefer crisp dialogue over thunderous bass. Looking forward to movie night at home now. Pandora and music library sound great and fill my entire first floor. Only gripe and it’s extremely minor is that the SUB is finished in a high gloss black finish. I e noticed right away any random pet hair clings right away to it. They DO throw in a microfiber cloth which is a nice touch.

Easy setup and great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonos Sub is very easy to setup, just like every other Sonos product. I'm not one that typically uses a lot of bass, but have enjoyed the sub with both music and TV/movie sound. It adds a whole other level to the rest of the system.

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well there's no way around it. The saying you get what you pay for is true when it comes to Sonos. You're not going to get out cheap, but what you get in exchange for the high price tag is absolutely amazing sound. I have 2 subs throughout my home and plan to add one more. The sound is absolutely incredible. The unit is heavy, but you can literally set a dime on it at full blast and it won't move since the outer housing is separate from the sound chamber. No cabinet rattles; just great deep thumping bass that will make you want to dig up every song you know to get the full effects of the great piece.

This SUB is SUPERB!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally made the leap and purchased a Sonos surround sound home theater configured system. This included (2) Play 1 speakers with stands, a Sonos Boost, Beam soundbar and the Sonos Subwoofer. I was hoping for sound similar to hardwired, legacy style speakers and systems. This system, especially the Sub, far exceeded my expectations! Simply earth shattering bass from this Sub. You can feel it in your bones when watching 5.1 UHD DVDs. Also, the system sounds great when playing music. If you are looking for a great Sub and you have a Sonos system, make the investment in this subwoofer. You won't be disappointed. On a side note, if BestBuy wants to install and configure your Sonos system AND you have a reasonable amount of consumer technical savvy, save yourself the money and do it yourself. Sonos is pretty much idiot proof. It's basically a plug and play install and config. By doing this on my own, I saved almost $400 in Bestbuy config/install fees. Again, THIS IS A GREAT SUB!

This baby BOOMS!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sub really completes the sonos home theatre experience. Easy to integrate and set-up. While this baby can shake the walls, it provides clean, precise, and adjustable bass. If you love bass, this is a must have. Well worth it.

So much bass from such a small sub
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best looking subwoofers out there. Was skeptical of how it would sound at first, given its small size, but boy does this thing hit hard and low! Setup is as easy as can be. Sound quality is very impressive for a sub this small. A must have if you have Sonos speakers. Only con is the price. Puts it into premier quality subwoofers, most of which sound better, but are all easily at least twice the size. All in all, would recommend.

Excelent product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paired it with two sonos play 1s and cannot believe the sound it produces. Two 1s alone is already good for my taste, but with this added to them.....wow! It is a little pricey though but i think it is worth it.

Would not want the sound bar without it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read some reviews and some people seemed satisfied with using just the sounds bar. My previous set up had a sub and I could not imagine not having one. I bought the Sonos Play Bar and sure enough 3 days later I went back for the sub. Much better. The thing is a tank. Solidly built sounds great. Not an audiophile but I enjoy a strong bass when I am watching an action movie or a football game. Not cheap but necessary if you are going with Sonos for home theater set up.

Great add on product for a Sonos System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sonos Sub to add to my other sonos products. This sub is now apart of a 5.1 surround system consisting of a Sonos Beam, 2 Sonos Ones, and now the Sonos Sub. The sound quality is amazing and the sub sounds perfect. When watching a movie, the sub isn’t over powering and sounds great. Compliments the movie very well. When playing music this sub really brings the bass. A little on the expensive side but well worth the money.

Amazing sub
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow is this thing impressive, and capable of putting out some serious bass. In regular tv and movie watching, it doesn't rumble too loudly, just adding a subtle but noticeable boost to the low end. Likewise when listening to rock or indie music you can definitely tell its there but its not extreme. Turn on a bass heavy song though and watch out. My sub bass test song is James Blake's "Limit to your Love", and when I listened to it at moderate volume (paired with my Sonos Beam and the Sub) it literally shook the walls and door of my house. Some of the deepest bass i've heard, to the point that i had to dial the bass down. For movie and tv watching, I actually wish the Sub added a little more bass; I have to dial it to around 75% of capacity before it really rumbles. The bass quality is great though, super clean and tight. The question of whether its worth $700 is another matter. To me the answer was yes, largely because I already had a Sonos ecosystem at home, with a Beam, Sonos 5, and two 1s acting as satellites for my home theater. I'd love to have paid a little less for it, but I'm willing to pay a bit more for the extreme ease of use and setup of Sonos, coupled with the fantastic sound quality.

Takes Beam to a New Level
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this sub about a month ago. This takes my home theater set-up to a new level. Previously just had a Beam and a pair of 1's for surrounds, which was actually a very good set-up without the sub. The sub adds great depth to both music and TV/movies. It allows the other speakers to focus on mid's and high's and enriches the overall sound more than just adding deep lows. This is very noticeable when you cycle the sub on and off within the app, with the sub on there is added brightness and volume to the Beam and 1's. At times the sub is almost too powerful and lows a bit too punchy, so I've set mine a bit lower than the default setting. Very good product and takes only a few minutes to set up. Only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the price does seem to be a touch high, $500 would make a bit more sense.

Adds a lot of oomph to your Sonos System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SUB is a great addition to any Sonos system. For the money their are better subwoofers out there but if you want to play in the wireless stereo world Sonos is the way to go and this is the sub to get, hence my rating of 5 stars. Super easy to add to the existing setup, True Play will make up for not knowing the proper way to place it in your system. The app will let you make adjustments to suit your taste,
