The fact that Sonos won't publish power should make you suspect. I don't know of any other real subwoofer company (I'm not going to include Bose because it shouldn't be considered with the others I'm about to list) that doesn't list power. I'm talking about PSA, JTR, Rythmik, Hsu, SVS, Monolith, Arendal, etc. They all list power. I'm not saying this doesn't play well but why not list the power?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From all the research I have done, there is no place where the actual wattage of the Sonos products are listed officially. The only comparison I can give you is related to the Sonos Play Bar. I had a Samsung Atmos sound bar with surround sound, which was rated at 500 watts. My Sonos Play Bar gets a little bit louder. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that it is more than 500 watts, because there are other factors that can make it a bit louder than just wattage. But if I had to guess, I would guess that the Sonos Play Bar is close to 500 watts total, and the sub is probably in the 50-100 watt range.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sonos and other expensive or high end theater systems doesn't publish watts because Sonos doesn't want their systems compared to middle or lower end systems that are cheaper and just strong such as Sony. They try to avoid confrontation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m told Sonos doesn’t post wattage along with Bose and some others.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Premium sound systems never claim or display power, sonos and bose will never display wattages or amps.
