• there are many. pick one that's empty. perhaps CD. those names are really by convention anyway b/c they match up with the name that floats on the screen and looks better than "bottom RCA ports".

• Hi Dan, That depends on the connection supported by your turntable. Most of the turntables support the Analog RCA (L/R). This receiver supports RCA (L/R) and Digital Optical connections. Thanks, >Joffrey
