“New home has in-wall speakers with a 300watt passive subwoofer. I know the other responses all say that this will only work with active subwoofers; however, could you connect Zone 2 to an external amp that will then connect to passive sub?”

• How does it only support analog video when it is audio (r and w) connections?

• Hi Mark, No, you cannot connect an external amp on the zone 2 terminal. The ZONE 2 component output jacks on the AV receiver will output analog video signals only. Regards, David
