Try using an optical cable to connect to the TV. We had the geek squad install ours and the tech said the sound bars can go wonky with the HDMI cable. Use the HDMI to program the sound bar and use the optical cable for daily use. If this does not work, I would try contacting the Geek Squad for tips.

I purchased a High End soundbar from another manufacturer. Sound and video were dismal. I have friends who have purchased Vizeo TVs and returned them for Sony or Samsung. You might try a Vizeo soundbar as an alternative to eating the money you spent for the TV. It seems matching soundbar and TV from the same manufacturer facilitates better results. Look up CNET best soundbar reviews 2018. There's a Vizeo soundbar that is listed as producing excellent video and sound and is listed as Best Value. Good luck.
