• Hi Read, No, it doesn't have an equalizer settings to adjust the bass. ~Ralph

• Yes. Click Home button. Then click Setup on menu displayed on TV. Select Audio Settings-Speaker Settings. Select the setting item. From here you can select the distance and level in db for front and subwoofer. If you have the manual, page 47 guides you right through customizing speaker settings.
