Try adjusting the sound field on the remote to “movie” or “music” for better bass
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can customize the settings. From the factory, both the sound bar and the subwoofer are set to 0.0db. But under settings you can configure both the bar and subwoofer levels. I raised the levels from 0.0db to 3.0db for both, and the sub really booms now. You can go all the way up 6.0db. If 0.0db is too high, you can lower it into the negative levels all the way down to -6.0db as well. From there, you can still adjust to your taste using the remote subwoofer volume up down as well. See page 47 of manual.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have the Geek Squad come out and set it up for you. I have the same soundbar and it will blast you out with the subwoofer if you crank it up louder. Geek Squad set up my Sony 900E and my soundbar/subwoofer and wireless rear speakers and they work perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue. I bought this as an upgrade from my Sony CT780. Sub woofer on that model has MUCH more punch. Using ARC input to Sony Bravia XBR55E. Same set up as with CT780. Totally disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm experiencing the same problem. Does the Wi-Fi have anything to do with this problem. I live in a small town with not very good internet Wi-Fi connection. You can barely hear my subwoofer. I have linked it and light is green and it's on the highest volume 12. What is reccomended. May need to return
