“turntable connections I have a Technics (I believe it is; about 3 years old) at my cabin. My old AM/FM tuner/amplifier has mostly died. It will still play the records. I would like to find a replacement, but also one that plays CDs or to which you could connect a free standing CD player. Will this Stereo Receiver do that?”

• Yes this receiver has a portable input function. Which means if you CD player has a headphone plug on it.. It will work on the potable function. Also works with mp3,cellphone you get the picture. So yes it will work, the receiver also has rca plugs in the back to plug in you turn table, CD player, DVD, . it is great

• Yes, it will work. You will need to purchase the proper cables to plug in your cd player, there are several output choices for this receiver
