It has a 20 Watt or so charge capacity... so it can charge let's say a Galaxy Note phone or an Ipad Pro even is OK. You'll want to supplement the power trickle from this monitor with something else. Gigabyte monitors in 27" and 32" have the same issue.

Please try again later.@gochichi, Assuming that he is referencing the MacBook Air and MacBook Pros with USB-C ports (2016 and up), the short answer is yes, a low-power adapter could charge the MacBook which requires a higher power adapter to function. (However, it will take a very long time)
