No, I have this tv in my bedroom as a 2nd tv, and there is no light. Like you cannot sleep with any light from anywhere.

Hi LDC5, Thank you for the question. There is no stand-by light when off.  Should there be, there is a setting where you can shut it off. Hope this helps.
