“How are these connected to the other front speakers or receiver?”

• They are connected to receiver height speaker terminal. They just sit on top of front speakers.

• Hi, they do not connect to front speakers, you can mount them on top of front speakers with the speaker facing the ceiling (to fire upward) or you can mount on wall or on the ceiling. As for the connection, look on the back of your receiver for red and black terminals that say height speakers, and hook one to left channel and one to right channel.
