no theyre meant to go on top of the main speakers or mount on the wall they reflect the sound off your ceiling hope this helps they have brackets on the back for wall mounting
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, they can be placed anywhere in the room as long it is wired to the receiver. But, you may want to follow the guidelines about where to place them to get the most efficient way to use them. I have mine installed near the ceiling on the wall facing me. This way the sound is coming from in front of me and above. If it's on the floor then you would have to increase the output so the sound can bounce off the ceiling and go above your head. Not really an ideal place though. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably but it would not have the same sound effect as when you put it on top of your front side speakers. The units have small feet however they are made to bounce the sound off the ceiling. So the farther away from the ceiling they are the more the sound will change. They also have a small mounting hole on the bottom so you could hang them on the wall.
