The speakers and your equipment will be just fine. Each speaker will be powered by an output on the a/v receiver - one speaker/one output. 6 ohms would be manageable by all receivers available today. If you would begin daisy chaining speakers together, then that is where the problems enter in (i.e. 2 speakers on one output).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using them with my 8ohms system, I believe that 8ohms resistance is greater than 6ohms so less power is going to the speaker but they are working fine for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you don’t need a resistor... they fall in the middle of the 4-8 ohm that your receiver can use....they may not match output wise with the other speakers... but you might not even notice that...
