• Hi, This Sony XBR43X830C does not support 3D playback. It will not be compatible with a 3D Blu-ray player for 3D viewing. - Jerome

• You posted this in a Sony TV section, not Sharp, but anyway all modern TVs should have HDMI ports to support Blu Ray. If you're talking about supporting the so-called "3D" playback specifically, that you'd need to check on a TV by TV basis. Mostly "3D" was abandoned (again) a few years ago.

• Yes, that is what I did. BUT it is not a 3D TV on its own.
