• I purchased 2 speakers with a sub woofer that sit between my couch and over sized chair, the sound is excellent, I can adjust sound level where I want it to be

• Since the speakers point downward, the high frequencies don't project well in front of the TV. Adjusting the equalizer doesn't help much either.

• I'm not really happy with the speakers on this television. It sounds muted. I'm older as well and will probably have to purchase a soundbar. Very surprised that Sony cut corners on an important feature.

• The sound it very good. We bought it for an older relative who has some hearing problems and has found the sound satisfactory.
