720 is somewhat dim compared to the 800 series. I think the 720 would do ok but the 800 would be better for sun lit rooms. It matters a great deal if the screen is shiny (reflective) or slightly matte(less reflective). I do not remember how reflective the 800 series is. It is good to go to the store and look at the screen from angles if you can see the overhead lights at the store while the picture is on. Or bring a led flashlight and do a direct test.
