Hi, Marty, Your old one is probably a non-Android TV, which has limited apps. The X800H is an Android TV that supports huge and ever-growing apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store app. Thanks! -Vincent
