This TV has a bright picture that would work better than most in partial light. Very few TV's are designed for outdoor use. Moisture will ruin it quickly and a short circuit could cause a fire. Not recommended! There are a few TV sets designed for covered outdoor areas. I suggest you shop for one designed just for your situation-it will be safer.
