“I want a 50" TV that has a built in Google Browser and a cell phone is not needed at all in using or setting up the TV. I want UHD 4K, and an excellent picture quality & good sound. Will this TV accomplish all of that?”

Hi Fairlady, Thank you for your inquiry! You can use this TV even without using a smartphone by choosing Set up basic TV during initial setup. To maximize the potential of this TV and to experience the most out of this TV, we suggest choosing Set up Google TV during initial set up which a smartphone or table is needed. Our X85J does not have a built-in Google browser. You can download the internet browser of your choice from the Google Play Store app of this TV. Our BRAVIA TVs have excellent picture and sound quality and you can always adjust them based on your preference.
