Is this compatible with an a7r3 camera? null

The lens is compatible with the Sony Alpha A7R3 however, the lens is originally designed for an APS-C sensor cameras like the A6xxx series so when you use this on a full frame camera like the A7R3 the field of view for 50mm lens will become (50x1.5) = 75mm lens. If you are looking for a true 50mm lens designed for full frame camera we recommend this model : SEL50F18F
