A:AnswerIt is on the left side as you stand looking at TV. There are 3 buttons and it is the center button. Hold it down for about 5 seconds, you will see the words "powering down" on the screen as the TV is shutting down.
A:AnswerI've had no problems controlling sound with my FIOS remote. You might want to try another channel on the remote if the one you select doesn't work everything on the TV. Everything works fine on my remote including the video source, etc.
