The X850C display at Best Buy says it is DirecTV4K ready. Would a Sony rep please confirm or clarify? Is the X850C really DirecTV 4K ready? If so, what additional equipment and/or arrangements are needed to get DirecTV 4K content?

Eh, yes once DirecTV and Sony release the update, not sure when that will be. You will need the Genie DVR plugged into at least one other TV for it to work, nothing else is needed as far as I know.

Sony says yes, but DirectTv say's no not yet. So who knows at he moment. but I am sure it will very soon.
