“Why doesn't this set support HDMI 2.1 4K120/VRR/ALLM if this is a step up from the X900H? Any chance a firmware update can remedy this issue?”

This is odd. I will probably never use those features, but they would be nice to have in case. I did read that the X900H does not have these features right now and they will be coming in a firmware update. Since the X950H has a better processor and other internals, I guess it might be possible for a firmware update on the step up model, but as far as I know Sony has not promised it.

From what I'm hearing this is a big downside of this TV, although I don't have a clue as to what the 2.1 is we have watched many you tube videos on this TV and like I mentioned it was brought up in most videos. For $1600 it should make me breakfast every morning...:)
