Yes, you can use the old Sony remote to the Sony - 65" class BRAVIA XR A80L OLED 4K UHD HDR Google TV for its number buttons. However, since the new remote controls do not have a number buttons, you can still pull it up in the Menu. If you hit the "Menu" button on the new remote it will call up a quick menu where you will be able to select a menu feature called "Numbers". This will call up a menu where you can type in numbers 0-9. Note: In the old remote control, there are some functions or buttons that might not work with the new TV and there are some new features on the new TV that are not available on the old remote control. Our Pure Black OLED TV powered by Cognitive Processor XR™ delivers remarkable contrast and every single detail, even in dazzling light or deep shadow. Sound comes directly from the screen, ingeniously immersive. Thank you for choosing Sony I hope this helps and thank you for considering Sony. Regards, Marco
