Q: Does anyone know the difference between this model, the A80L, and the A80CL?
A: Hi Dave, Thank you so much for your inquiry! Here are the differences of the A80L and A80CL TV. • Additional BRAVIA CORE credits (10 movie credits vs. 5 movie credits) and additional streaming (24 months vs. 12 months) • Brushed aluminum backlit remote with finder function (A80L has black standard remote) • Rich color enhancer feature • Extended warranty (varies by retailer) I hope this helps! Regards, Carl
Q: I don't see a difference btw this and the A75 model. Can someone explain?
A: Thank you so much for your inquiry! The A75L and A80L have some differences in speakers, sizes and TV stand positions the A80L has Standard, Soundbar and Narrow position for the TV stand. The A75L is equipped with Acoustic Surface Audio however, the A80L is equipped with three actuators, two down-firing subwoofers and Acoustic Surface Audio+ which will have a better sound stage. Also the A80L supports Google Voice search built into TV while the A75L is not built in you must use the remote for that feature. The two TV models also have different prices that you may want to consider for your budget. I hope this helps you decide the best TV for your needs! Regards, Carl
Q: Does this set require external speakers?
A: No additional speakers are necessary. They come built in and I think the sound quality is fantastic! You could definitely add external speakers or a soundbar if you wanted to. The great thing is that the feet of the tv can be installed in a way that lifts the tv higher so you can fit a soundbar neatly underneath.

Q: Does this TV have a backlit remote?
A: No, the remote is not backlit. It is also a very simple remote with no number pad. It has the standard volume and channel up/down buttons along with quick access app buttons like Netflix, Disney+, etc.
Q: What is the factory warranty on this model?
A: 3 years.
A: That's the drawback for any OLED TV. The blacks are deeper but you cannot appreciate them as much in a well-lit room or during day-watching. The max brightness for this TV is 1000 nits (I think) and that is not quite enough to justify placing this TV is a bright space. If you really are having a trouble watching you might want to consider one of the newer models or other models that have higher brightness (atleast 1500 nits). If you do not have the budget for them, your last bet would be do switch to a QLED but as you might know, it has its own drawbacks depending on your requirements.
