My 900E works great with sports, no blur at all. Try going into the Home menu, top left of screen settings, then select the Live Football mode. That made the game a little crisper, not that it needed it, and still had no blur. You might want to be sure you're not passing your video through a receiver or surround sound box that knocks the video quality down. While my Sony receiver is 4K passthrough, meaning it doesn't knock the picture quality down, some receivers are not and will dumb down the video. Hope this helps some.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went to rtings.com and used their calibration settings. Once I did this everything worked to perfection. I don't understand the live football mode on the 900E. I don't know what SONY was thinking there. It does not work well in my opinion. Try these setting in the link and see if that helps. Also remember that most sports are still filmed in 720p or 1080i and not even 1080p. So if you go from watching 4K content to regular cable service sporting channel, it is probably going to be noticeably less clear. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900e/settings
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I got an initial response from Sony above, sent message to the email address they provided ([email protected]), Settings recommendations they provided back did not help (most were already in place or tried with Sony live support), and now not getting a response to my emails. Rather not, but strongly considering returning the TV (to Best Buy) and seeking alternatives, as it seems others have not had these issues with the 900E and running out of options. Any other thoughts/suggestions? Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First thing I would look at is the source of the signal...if standard cable it is 1080p....I have not seen any 4k cable boxes yet. Then next thing is if you are running it through anything else.....if you are using a AV receiver and then to TV then it could be your AV receiver as the issue. Hope that helps trouble shoot...but for me everything is almost TOO crisp and clear.
