This is a really nice TV! I can see the difference in quality with DVDs, but still a nice picture. The older TV shows can be a bit blurry but that varies with the show. Most of the ones I've viewed are acceptable on this TV.

It looks good, you should not notice a difference in quality unless you have a really old tv (for lower quality media).
