• Mike ... You shouldn’t provided your sound bar has an optical input as Sony uses the optical as output ... Also there is a mount that is purchased separately if you wanted to attach the sound bar to the TV

• I’m not sure about the LG sound bar but I haven’t had any problems using my Samsung sound bar. My wife and I love the tv!

• I use the LG SJ7 soundbar system and put one behind us in rear mode. Love it. Use high quality HDMI cables and HDMI inputs 2 or 3 utilize the ARC audio return channel feature. Roku box to soundbar, soundbar to TV input ARC. Sync using TV remote features, control sound via either, but i prefer the SJ7 remote for surround and rear volume settings. BAD quality HDMI cables will cause problems like no sound, sound but no picture, sound off sync and popping.
