The real test must be done with a VCR because the resolution is 240 lines ,DVD resolution is more than double, so perhaps someone can perform the real test and post the results of the upconversion quality????

Please try again later.I don't have a VHS VCR but using the LG dp132h dvd player I tested both inputs hdmi and composite , the picture from both HDMI and COMPOSITE look The SAME Very ,very GOOD and very Rare for a TV, the same test on a Vizio TV is much ,much different ?????

Please try again later.Yes clearly the most acid test for picture quality, using the composite input connect a VHS VCR like the excellent Sony N-81 with DRC and using a good condition factory production Hollywood movie test and then post the level of picture quality ....
