From what I see there should be no problem running it without passing through. Just connect the ARC hdmi to stereo and TV ARC inputs. The reason tuner has all hdmi inputs is for cable management. Everything running into tuner and only 1 hdmi running to tv. Makes for a cleaner system. Hope this helps

Note that the answer above is incorrect, you would connect the EARC out (HDMI 3 on this model) on the TV to an HDMI IN (not Out) on the Amplifier to allow you to get the best possible sound. Note that in this setup, however, you'll need to connect all devices you might want to add directly to the TV and use the Receiver for sound only, not as a video-switching 'hub' type of unit.

Note that when you connect an eARC-compatible TV to the HDMI TV OUT jack of the receiver using an HDMI cable, you can enjoy object-based audio formats such as Dolby Atmos - Dolby TrueHD, and DTS:X as well as Multi Channel Linear PCM, which cannot be transmitted by ARC.
