“I have this sound bar hooked up to my samsung 900ts and I use my playstation 5 and xbox series x and verizon fios plugged in. I have the hdmi arc hooked from tv to the sound bar, but for some reason on xbox series x it won't let me select 7.1 channel.”

It is also recommended to use a Premium High Speed HDMI cable. You may also want to check the supported format of your source content. It must support 7.1 channel.
