“I'm planning on wall mounting this bar ~6" under my TV. TV sticks out 4.63". With this mounted on the wall, with a Rocketfish Soundbar mount, it will stick out 6.2" (5.7"+.5"). Does anybody know if the TV above is going obstruct the Atmos effect?”

Hi Mike G. If the soundbar has at least 2" protrusion away from the TV, you'll be fine. The S-Force PRO Front Surround technology that this soundbar has gives out a three-dimensional audio feel coming out of its front speakers. Thanks, -Mark

Please try again later.I am going to get the HT-ST5000 also, and was wondering the same thing, then I got the bright Idea of mounting the soundbar with the brackets on the top of the tv. This will enable a flush mount look, AND the atmos will bounce off cieling un obstructed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Atmos upper drivers are about 1/2" from rear of unit. They point up so yes the TV will be in the way of the Atmos speakers, but should still work. Best to have the Soundbar completely in front of the TV.
