Hi Paul, Setting up the soundbar and the TV is easy. You may even use just 1 HDMI cable for connection since both support ARC. You may check on this link for more information:

This Home theater bar has three hdmi inputs so you could connect three components to the bar then one to the tv..... The “home theater bar” is absolutely outstanding so go get it..... you will not be disappointed... No doubt about it
